Conditions treated

What  does acupuncture treat?

Acupuncture is a safe, effective treatment, recommended for many conditions by the World Health Organisation and NICE (see full list of recommendations below)

Acupuncture can benefit anyone suffering from the effects of stress, fatigue, insomnia, anxiety or depression, sinus infections, frequent colds, asthma, digestive issues, PMS, infertility, muscle and joint pain, difficult life events such as separation or divorce, grief, the after effects of trauma and accidents, or unusual symptoms that are hard to diagnose in Western medicine. People who have had acupuncture will tell you that not only do their symptoms improve, but they feel happier, and more able to deal with life’s ups and downs.

Your symptoms are signs that the relationship between the physiological systems in your body have become disrupted or blocked. Fine, sterile needles are inserted into the skin, which activate the body’s flow of energy. Clearing these blocks improves your body’s natural healing ability.
