More about Sarah

My own journey to acupuncture began as a patient. Faced with a collection of unexplained symptoms that Western medicine couldn’t treat, I felt frustrated and unseen through the lack of help available to improve my health. I believed there had to be a better way to achieve wellness than waiting for a condition to become full-blown.
That better way was acupuncture. I was amazed by its simplicity and the rapid relief it provided. It not only alleviated my physical symptoms but also helped my body process the emotional residue of past loss and trauma. This profound personal experience ignited my passion to become a healer, leading me to train at the leading Five Element Acupuncture institute.
Today, I am humbled to guide my patients on their own health journeys. It is a privilege to help them restore balance and step into richer, more rewarding lives.
Professional experience
As a member of the British Acupuncture Council, I am governed by codes of safe practice and professional conduct. I carry full professional indemnity and public liability insurance cover. Historically, the skills of acupuncture were handed down from master to apprentice, and I am committed to deepening my learning through Continuing Professional Development. I’m also a regional group co-ordinator of the British Acupuncture Council.
In my time I have worked in publishing and overseas development. I have maintained a meditation practice for over 35 years, and for a few years, I lived in a meditation centre. I continue to deepen my connection to Buddhist and Daoist teachings. Born in the UK, my roots are in India and China.
