You are no longer legally required to self-isolate if you test positive for COVID 19, but for the health of the clinic community, I ask that if you have symptoms of a cough or cold you take a Lateral Flow Test, and if positive, you do not attend clinic. If negative, please also discuss your symptoms with me before attending clinic.
This issue is particularly important to me, as I have a close relative in a care home, who I cannot visit if I test positively. I have had reports from several people who have been symptomless, but nevertheless tested positive on a LFT.
Like many allied healthcare professionals, I continue to implement heightened health and safety procedures in clinic:
- All surfaces and equipment are wiped down between appointments
- I leave 15 minutes between appointments, in order to air the room
- I wear a mask under close contact, and you will be offered a disposable mask, if you so wish to wear one
- You will be asked to wash your hands, after removing shoes; watch and jewellery around your wrist; and items from your pockets
- I ask that you make payments to me online
- In order to reduce the time of your first appointment, I now send out Intake Forms online, from my clinic software, Halaxy
Thank you for your understanding.
